After breakfast, continue your trek to the charming village of Ghorepani. Dense forests surround this picturesque village and offer stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Spend the night in Ghorepani, preparing for an early morning hike to Poon Hill.
Waking before dawn, we hike for about an hour up Poon Hill (3,210m) to watch the sunrise over the Himalayas! Hot tea is usually available in the early morning chill we sip while taking in the amazing scene of a huge array of mountains. These mountains are Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Lamjung Himal, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) – and many more, which your guide will point out to you. Once the sun has risen spectacularly over the mountains and we have clicked enough photos, we drag ourselves away and head back down to the lodge in Ghorepani for a well-deserved breakfast before heading on to Tadapani.
The trail to Tadapani starts quite steep until we cross the Deurali Pass when the path becomes more forgiving. From the Deurali Pass, we get a second chance to take the mountains we saw from Poon Hill. Overnight in Tadapani.
We will have our breakfast, and continue our journey to Chomrong (2,165m), passing Chuile on the way. At first, we pass the beautiful Ghandruk Village and then take a steep descent to the Kimron River before reaching Chomrong. From the way, you will see mind-blowing views of Annapurna South and Fishtail. Chomrong village lies on the lap of the mighty Annapurna massif and is a popular overnight spot for those ascending to Annapurna Base Camp.
After breakfast, begin your descent walk to Jhinu Danda, which takes about one hour downhill. Upon arrival, you can take a break to enjoy the natural hot springs and have a refreshing lunch. After some relaxation, continue your trek to the charming village of Landruk.
After breakfast, we set out on a scenic hike from Landruk towards Deurali. The trail leads us through picturesque landscapes and verdant forests, gradually ascending until we reach Deurali. Here, on clear days, the panoramic views of the beautiful mountain range, including the Annapurna peaks, unfold before us, offering a breathtaking sight. After some well-deserved rest and soaking in the scenery at Deurali, we continue our journey towards Dhampus. Along the way, we pass through the charming village of Pothana, nestled amidst terraced fields and surrounded by serene mountain views. The path to Dhampus winds gently downhill, promising more glimpses of rural life and natural beauty.
On the final day of your trek, hike down to Phedi, where a vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Pokhara. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring Pokhara at your leisure, visiting the city's many attractions, or simply relaxing by the serene lakeside.
Begin your Pokhara excursion with an early morning trip to Sarangkot for a stunning sunrise over the Himalayas. Return to Pokhara for a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake and enjoy a lakeside lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Shiva statue at Pumdikot and then the serene World Peace Pagoda. Next, explore the unique Devi's fall. Conclude your day by returning to your hotel and enjoying Pokhara's vibrant nightlife.
After a hearty breakfast, embark on your journey back to Kathmandu. Along the way, take a relaxing break on the banks of the Trishuli River, enjoying the serene surroundings and refreshing atmosphere.
