    Mountain Flight

There are various ways to enjoy the natural beauty of Nepal. One of the ways is to take the aerial route. Mountain flights offer you the closest possible view of some of the world’s highest peaks, including Mount Everest (8,848m) -- the tallest mountain in the world, from the comfort of your aircraft seat.

Nepal is aptly called the adventure capital of the world, thanks to an array of Himalayan peaks lining up along its northern frontiers. Adventurers can walk to the foot of these mountains. However, not everyone is a trekker and adventurer. Mountain flight is there for those who cannot trek to the mountains.

Almost all the domestic airlines operate mountain flights. We will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to the airport for your mountain flight. A few minutes after leaving Kathmandu airport, you can enjoy views of major peaks, high altitude lakes and glaciers flowing downward from high Himalayan peaks.

The flight offers you a view of 20 of the highest peaks in the world starting from Langtang Lirung -- the closest peak from Kathmandu. It then moves eastwards offering you views of Gaurishankar, Cho You, Mount Everest, Mount Makalu and further to Mount Chamlang. The aircraft then returns back to Kathmandu airport using the same route. This offers passengers seated on the other side to enjoy mountain views. Your flight attendants will help you to identify the peaks.
